Casa Santo Domingo opened its doors in June 1989. It is located 45 km. from the capital city (50 minutes by car) and barely 10-minute walking distance from the center of the city of La Antigua Guatemala.

Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary
According to some writers "it was the most beautiful in America". The famous historian Fuentes y Guzmán said that: "Virgin Mary was in a place such as a capable and refined Chapel..." Another historian calls it "the magnificent ...for its grandeur and singular adornments...being an admirable wonder, worthy of the saintly image".
Every Sunday you can attend a Rosary prayer at 9:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m.

Bar "El Cabildo" provides a comfortable retreat for you to enjoy your favorite drinks and appetizers. It is an appropriate place for private conversations among friends, business people or for a romantic rendezvous. It opens from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Location
Situated under the gaze of three magnificent volcanoes, the city of Antigua Guatemala is a wonderful sight. El Cardenal Restaurant
An exceptional cook, chef Arlene Meneses, performing at El Cardenal Restaurant and El Campanario Lounge, gives simple dishes a subtle touch that makes all the difference. Whether it be the corn cream with chipilín leaf or the home vinaigrette sauce with toasted pepitoria that awakens the senses, Arlene adds to her dishes spices, fruits and flowers from the Antigua area.
Such is the case of the güicoy-filled raviolis in loroco sauce, where the soufflé-like texture of the güicoy becomes more fragrant thanks to the loroco flowers. Her traditional Guatemalan dishes, like jocón, pepián and Kaq ik, slowly and delicately prepared, are a worthy tribute to old times recipes.
The excellent menu plus a well-stocked wine cellar and a variety of award-winning teas and coffees make El Cardenal a delightful place.
